Here are some atc's I've done recently on the theme of vintage lace for a swap due on 7th Jan 08. I have used H2O's to give the luminescent sheen...

This year I have also made an atc for my husband for Christmas. I scanned a large sepia photo from an old book of peoples of the . It features a russian woman in traditional headgear. I embellished this with glitter glue, the word 'Mother' taken from an old story book, and H2O colouring then coated with a very thick layer of UTEE. Then I added a hanging wire so he can put it on the wall. It looks a bit like a russian icon. I will add a photo after Tuesday... Christmas Day!!!! He's been asking me to make him something for ages so I hope he likes it. My brother and sister will also get atc's this year in addition to other things. I don't remember ever giving people something I have made before so it will be interesting to see how they are received!

Here is the head dress I made this afternoon for an ice maiden themed outfit I plan to wear on Saturday night at a London night club. I used two silk pointsettias and the leaves plus some white / glitter plasic wire branches and bound them together to make a head dress which I shall secure in place with hair grips. I already have a long white dress which will do for the finished effect and I shall have a stole of white net. Dangly crystal earrings might just complete the outfit!
