Here's what I have been doing this weekend - 6 cards trading cards on a Geisha theme for a swap coming up for the Yahoo group 'VintagePhotoImage' hosted by Teri Chenin... These are on mount board which I like to work on as it will take anything you throw at it! I've used lots of fibres on cards recently - they're lightweight, colourful and luxurious looking...
For the same group Vonda Roberts is hosting a 6/5 swap entitled 'Boys and their Toys'. Here are a couple of the set I did for this theme. The base of this card, the mount and the little balls are all made of Fimo clay with a dusting of Perfect Pearls (any loose mica based eye shadow powder will work just as well). I adore working with this type of clay. The image is from a postcard I found last week at a flea market reduced on the computer and inkjet printed onto photographic paper...
